Started this on Monday, worked on it off and off untill Wednesday afternoon. John Singer Saregnt study, this guy used to paint heads untill he put one stroke wrong; then erase the entire head and repaint it. He tried to keep his portraits as sketches - you can see it in his brush strokes as well.
